As well as an arts centre, Calstock has a thriving village hall which puts on performances by local, national and international artists. Past performers have included Show of Hands, Martin Simpson, Steve Tilston, Martha Tilston, Walter Strauss, The Pine Leaf Boys, and Indian bamboo flute maestro Shashank Subramanyam, accompanied on the mridangam by P.Satish Kumar.

The Village Hall and the Old Chapel combine to put on a variety of events during Calstock Festival which occurs in early June. Calstock also hosts a Bike Show (camping, live bands, etc.) later in the summer (5th to 10th August 2010) and a weekend Rowing Regatta.
